Plumbing

I think I have a leak. What should I do?
If you see water, go back to the nearest shutoff valve and try to isolate the line. This will help to slow or stop the water flow.
My sump pump has failed. What should I do?
If the basement isn’t flooded check the power to the pump. Try plugging in something different to the outlet. Check the float on the pump to verify if it’s stuck.
My water heater is leaking. What should I do?
Turn the valve to the water heater off to stop the water flow. Turn the gas supply off to the tank, if you’re able to do this safely. Call us if you need assistance.
My sink is draining slow. What should I do?
Remove “pop up” from the drain and discard any buildup in the line.

Fire Protection

Why do I need a sprinkler inspection?
They are required by NFPA and the insurance companies to ensure proper operation. Your insurance company can deny your coverage if you aren’t compliant.

HVAC

I am having problems with my furnace. What should I do?
Here are a few things that you can check on your own.
Check the air filter. If it’s dirty, you need to replace it.
Check your thermostat batteries and replace them if they aren’t working anymore.
Check your airflow by holding your hand near the vent. If your furnace filter and thermostat batteries don’t need to be changed, it’s time to call a professional.
I am having problems with my AC. What should I do?
First check your thermostat batteries and replace them if they aren’t working anymore. Also, check your airflow by holding your hand near the vent. If your filter and batteries don’t need to be changed, it’s time to call a professional.
