Here’s list of helpful hints to keep you cooler throughout the Summer: - Close your blinds and curtains throughout the day to prevent the sun from heating the inside of your home. When your floor is exposed to sunlight, it will raise the temperature of your home. Make sure that your blinds and curtains are closed in areas that the sun shines through, in the morning and afternoon. If you prefer natural light, you can always close and open your blinds and curtains, depending on the time of day that the sun shines through them.
- Turn your fan ON using your thermostat to circulate air through your home. This activates the blower in your heating and air conditioner equipment, and it will make your home feel cooler.
- Set your thermostat to cool your home early in the day to help your air conditioner keep your home at a comfortable temperature throughout the day.
